I have been hopelessly in love with my cold, impossible roommate Aiden for months, even though I am pretty sure he is straight. Then he gives me a plushie that looks exactly like him. The first time I rub its ears, he blurts, “Stop touching my ears—” When I kiss it, he runs for a cold shower. When I sleep with it, he does not sleep at all. And when I finally bite down, he looks me in the eyes and admits, “Jamie, I can feel everything.” The worst part? He knew before he gave it to me. Apparently, my untouchable roommate handed me a doll linked to his body—and somehow expected me not to make him lose control.
